The new addition to the SportNetwork Cima Racing stable has made it back to Cambridgeshire from its previous Devon home, following an eventful drive.
The car is in reasonable condition, bar a few minor problems. Mileage is best described as 'questionable', and both the rev counter and speedometer are somewhat vague - although they came from an 80 Quattro, so that's perhaps no surprise. Wing mirrors are alarmingly angled, and won't adjust in to any specific position and there's an interesting visual display put on at night when all the cracks in the windscreen start bouncing the light around.
Other than that, it's all good.
The 2.3 litres of Audi power works and, happily, it didn't use too much petrol on a motorway run, so things are looking promising for Bangers4BEN.
Pictured is part of the current SportNetwork Cima Racing fleet, with our legendary Staples2Naples Renault Safrane, some boring saloon car of some sort, and the classic Audi 90 we'll be using in November.
Can't wait!
